SURPRISE!

Yes, we can't believe it either....
so, we took two just to be sure!
We definitely weren't thinking of having another bundle of joy any time soon. Well, God's plan is in the works and not ours so, we welcome this little one with much joy and many prayers. From our ever-growing family to yours, Merry Christmas!
P.S. This little one should be due sometime in middle to late August...just trying to even things out a little with the birthdays!=0)

Away in a Manger

This is the video of Ainsley's class singing Away in a Manger. It's pretty funny how she is the loudest one singing until her and Rider start a yelling match halfway through. And also, notice who brings baby Jesus gifts on the first Christmas=0)

Happy Birthday, Jesus Party

Ainsley's class had a "Happy Birthday, Jesus" party today. We had lunch, listened to the kids sing and Santa came, which I thought was interesting, but that's a whole other blog. Anyway, Santa did have a great message and who doesn't love a candy cane?! I tried to get some video of the class with Santa and then again singing Away In a Manger. You have to pay close attention to Ainsley in both videos...more so the singing one because she's pretty funny!

Every month the kids make a different place mat to use at lunch and this month it was a snowman with the kid's picture at the top. If you look closely (click on the picture), Ainsley is on the phone!
This is a bulletin board in the classroom of each students hand print for the tree and then they all crafted a present to go around the tree.
Ainsley made an ornament for our tree...it's her hand print and every finger is a snowman.
The bag, card and snowflake...all crafted by Ainsley
The class with Santa
Loving the Happy Birthday, Jesus cake
Making some Christmas cookies to take home
BAM!
More M&M's
I can't get either one of the videos to upload at the moment so I will have to try again some other time.

Matt's Birthday

We celebrated Matt's birthday yesterday and the cousins took their annual picture. We played Twister and had some really great food and a ton of great desserts!
Ainsley had fun calling out the directions for Twister...everything was "Left hand green...left foot red...left hand blue."
Mike and Roger got in on the Twister action.

Here are the cousins! Ethan, Emily, Ainsley (nice face!), Zechariah, Dawson, Kamrie and Marissa. All the girls wore the same dress...it was so cute!

Ainsley Reading to Jack

This morning Ainsley was reading Babar to Jack. It was the cutest thing! He sat there for the whole story and then another one.

I guess this is what he thinks of Babar.

The End

Bro, This is for You!

Zechariah was cheering on his Steelers yesterday and this was his reaction when he found out they were loosing.

Go Ben!
It was a rough game!

Fun in the Tub

Z trying out some goggles

CheeseFinding Nemo (and it's upside down...how he prefers to read)

Christmas Lights

The other night we bundled the kids up and went looking at Christmas lights around the neighborhood. There are some really wonderful displays close by.

This house is around the corner from us and each year their display has grown more and more elaborate.

I thought this was cute because it was a little carousel that went round and round. Ainsley really liked the ones that moved.

This was my favorite because I liked the way they used the blue twinkle lights over their rocks to make a river!
Hope everyone is enjoying their December so far!
