I am not crazy about the fact that Z is still in diapers but I couldn't resist this photo op!

You are mine plane! Suffer the wrath of my slobber!
My very talented friend, Rachel has been creating several different patterns for handbags. I picked a style and fabric sample I liked and she made it for me. I got it in the mail yesterday and was so excited! Most everyone who knows me is familiar with my purse/bag obsession. If I could, I'd have a closet full! Shoes and pens too...I know those don't all go together really and I'm not saying I'd like a closet full of pens but I think you catch my drift. Anyway, she has some different styles and some great fabrics to choose from so if you're interested in purchasing one (for yourself or as a gift) her blog is listed in my Other Blogs/Sites I Enjoy Reading and is called Rachel's Rags. I can relay your order to her or get you in touch with her. By the way, the inside of my bag has two smaller pockets on either side and has a button closure on the front (as seen below).
Just another note, Ainsley took this picture of me "modeling" my purse! I think we have a future photog on our hands...Thanks Bro!

We'll have to see what it looks like tomorrow. I've never had a black eye but I imagine they don't feel too good. Ains says it hurts when she moves her eye around too much or when she shuts them really fast. Tears or no tears, it amazes me how resilient kids are and how quickly they get over (some) injuries!
This morning before school Z wanted to read the book Ains was reading so I told him to read another one while he waited. He dumped out the library book bag (I cheated and got the books from the Terry Plowman Library!) and started reading just about every book from the bag. He would open one, look at a few pages and move to new one. I was feeding Jess while he was doing this but it was funny to watch him "preview" all the books before he made a selection. I think he finally decided on Richard Scary's Learn to Count (which he also picked for his pre-nap story). When I got back home after dropping them off, I had to take a picture of how his decision progressed because I thought it was a funny.
