We were on our way to meet some friends for lunch today and as we were pulling out of the driveway, Z starts asking, "Is it peeing? It's peeing, it's peeing!" I had just run in the house to grab something so I thought maybe he was thinking I went pee. I was so confused and kept asking him what he meant and he just got frustrated and then I got frustrated too. Finally, Ains yells from the back of the car, "He's saying 'It's SPRING' mommy!" Oh...I get it now! (Thanks to my wise interpreter!) See, Z has a little trouble with words beginning with S blends...SP, ST, SPR, etc. Has no problem with words like soccer or soup but ask him to say stop or special, you have to take it all into context to figure out what he's saying. And usually I can do that but this one threw me for a loop.
