And So It Begins...

This morning I was putting Ainsley's lunch in her backpack when I spotted some magazine cutouts shoved in the front mesh pocket. Usually she has random things that periodically need to be cleaned out of that front pocket...a hand drawn picture from a friend, a hair accessory, a bookmark, a collection of various pebbles, etc. but today it was these two particular magazine cutouts below:

Yes, my six year old had a crush on Justin Bieber...uggh! Isn't she too young for this?! I had a major crush on Donnie Wahlberg but at least I was in 6th grade before I started plastering my walls with his likeness!

I am amazed at him being the first to get them since he doesn't "mingle" with half the kids the others do. At least since he has gotten his vaccines, it won't be nearly as bad as it could be. Just stinks that you can't do anything about it. Funny how I'm all itchy now=)

Happy Regular Day!

Just wanted to tell you all that I love you and I'm thinking of you! Seems like Valentine's Day always reminds me how much we need to tell those around us how much we love them...and not just on Valentine's day but, the other 364 days as well. So, today (and always) I'm thinking of you and praying that you are surrounded by love and peace and joy and all the things that make life wonderful!

The Morning After

The next morning the kids were ready to go out again since their 2 hour school delay turned into a cancellation and more snow had fallen overnight. Mike even had a delay at work that turned into a vacation day so we headed outside to play in the snow!

That was yesterday. Today there is no new snow but it is bitterly cold (like 9 degrees last time I checked) so school was cancelled again...really?! Not sure what their thinking was, but I'm sure they have their reasons. The roads are fine for the most part, its just really cold. Cold or not, I think I'm ready for school to be back in session=)

The Big Storm

So we got a few inches of snow like they forcasted the other night...have to say I was quite surprised that it did more than a dusting! The kids were ready to go out after dinner so they bundled up and headed out to make a snowman.
