Ainsley and Z got some magnifying glasses last week (Z has a dinosaur but was using Ainsley's at the time!) and love using them to look at everything.

Jess sitting pretty. As I said in an earlier post, she's almost sitting by herself now.

Rollie Pollie smiles!
Mike just got back from KC and caught a bug or something. He barely has a voice and isn't feeling too well.
I am not doing too well letting Jess "cry it out" at night so she wakes up at least 4 times between the time Mike and I go to bed and when we wake up. By this age both Ains and Z were sleeping through the night. I just can't bear to listen to her cry, especially when I think of everyone else trying to sleep. I just need to take a week and do it so that she sleeps through the night otherwise I'm going to have a 10 month old that doesn't sleep yet!

Caden was sleeping through the night at 5 months, but Caleb took longer. Although he had back to back ear infections from 7-10 months, so that's why at that stage, but wasn't sleeping through the night before 7 months. Once I had an all clear from the doctor on the ears, at 10 months, I had to do the "cry it out" too, but did it when Chris was out of town. It literally took 2 nights, and by the 3rd he was sleeping soundly all night. So, hang in there-at least she's not 10 months, and it shouldn't take long. You're doing the right thing for her, you, and everyone in the house.
It's me again! Where did you get the magnifying glasses? I thought that'd be fun to put in the Easter baskets. We should be at church on the 5th, so looking forward to seeing you guys up there. Also, I'd love to get coffee soon. Do you want to meet somewhere without the kiddos? The boys are at school on Mondays and Wednesdays and we are at Bible Study on Tuesdays, so let me know what works for you. Hope things are going well with Jess.
