Homecoming at Ainsley's School

This week is Homecoming at Ainsley's school. They had a pep rally for Jesus today and were asked to either wear purple and white (Homecoming colors), sports uniforms, cheerleader outfits or "Homecoming Queen" dress. I bet you can imagine what Ainsley chose! Here are some shots of her in her "Homecoming Queen" outfit before she left for school.

My Pretty Pretty Princess! (or Queen!)
Homecoming had three parts: Getting Ready, the Pep Rally for Jesus, and The Big Game.
To Get Ready the kids made pompoms, pennants, megaphones and crowns (since they are part of God's royal family). At the Pep Rally for Jesus the kids took all the things they made in class and went to the Rainforest Rally Room to cheer for Jesus. Then, The Big Game consists of a canned food drive to care for others. The class with the most canned food donated by the end of the week will get the shiny Kids Express Trophy (and if Ainsley's class wins, an ice cream party). I would have loved to see all the kiddos dressed up today and take part in the rally but Z needed a nap since he's been sick lately. I'm sure it was just adorable!
