First Haircuts!

Today I made an appointment to get Zechariah's first haircut. It was really beginning to get in his eyes and was hanging over his ears. The back was really bad too...serious bed head but all the time! So, we went to Mop Tops this afternoon and he got a new 'do. I was amazed at how much hair Ms. Shannon cut off since I didn't think he had much to cut! She saved it in a little baggie for me so I can put it in his baby book. My little man is growing up!He really liked the squirt bottle
Shannon said, "Last mohawk shot, Mom"
Getting around the ears
Trimming up the back
While we were there, I was talking about Ainsley's hair and how she'd never had it cut because I was afraid she would lose her curls. Shannon said that she didn't think it would change Ainsley's curls at all and that the ends really needed to be trimmed. She had time so she squeezed Ains in. Shannon took about an inch and a half off Ainsley's hair and it really made a difference, especially in the back. I think it is even more curly now and it just looks a little more polished.
This was the back before...now it is all one length in the back.
Getting all the tangles out
The first cut...a little curl which I have in another baggie!
Pretty ponies!

Your gramma always wanted red hair. The day she died Aunt Susan and I realized that she finally would get her wish. I can't tell you how proud she would be of your little redheads. Love, Aunt Annie
