We're putting a "window" in the kitchen to open it up more and let in more light. We would like to do the adjoining wall as well but it is a load bearing wall so we thought we'd practice on this wall first!
It was a pretty messy and tedious job but Mike got it done in one weekend. It is framed too...which we don't have pictures of yet...but it is ready to be mudded (not sure if that's really a word!) and taped. The kids love it! Ainsley uses it as her puppet stage. She gets on the couch in the living room and pops her hands up in front of the window like she's the puppeteer! Z, I'm afraid, would just like to go through it...he's such a climber. I'll post the finished pics when we get it done.
