So we're at the park today after enjoying our free lunch and I'm getting ready to push Z on the swing next to another mom and her little one. She looks over and says, "Wow, three kids under 4!" and I say, "Yes, three that are 4 and under and one on the way." I thought she was going to drop right here in the sand. She said, "You're kidding...you're having another one? When are you due? You must have the patience of a saint!" I'll admit, we're about to have a bigger family than most people have these days but we want it that way. We think that every little one that has been given to us is a gift from God and we are thrilled and honored to get to raise them. I really wish people would quit acting like we're crazy or stupid (or both!) for having so many kids. Yes, a few of our kiddos were surprises but it wasn't like we didn't want them or couldn't handle it. And yes, there are MANY crazy moments in our household and I'll be the first to admit there is sometimes a lot of yelling, but that is true of any house with kids whether it's 1 or seven! I guess I'm just tired of the comments and the looks when I go places. I just want to scream at people and tell them that I'm not a teenage mother who doesn't know how to use birth control...I am a woman who is married to a man who has a great job and we can provide for our children. Yes, I get asked how old I am sometimes. My friend Amber, who also has four kids, gets looks and comments all the time and so I guess I should just get used to it but sometimes its just a little annoying.

I think you handle everything well. It is not the norm anymore to have more than one or two kids, but if you want more why not if you can take care of them. I think it is wonderful you are filling up your house with kiddos. They are all so cute! Now granted you don't look like your in your 30's so maybe that's why they look at you strangely, so maybe it really is a compliment :) Miss you all!
I love all of them and you guys and look forward to number 4.
