This is what I hear Ainsley shouting all morning. And she's right, she can read! She brought home a little reader from school yesterday and we read the title and some of the vocabulary in it at the dinner table last night. This morning I wanted to see if she would read to me since we had some time before school. She opened it up and read the whole thing! It has about 10 pages and she needed very little help with any of it and only sounded out a couple of words. I'm so excited and so proud of her!!! I can't wait for her so start reading more and more...except for the fact that soon she won't bring me a book and ask me to read it one day. I'm still excited for her and I'll read to her anytime=)

YEA!!! That is very exciting! I am sure she'll still bring you books for a while but you know when they start reading that means they spell too so no more spelling out what you don't want them to hear :) hehe!
