Yesterday was Ainsley's class field trip to the zoo. I decided to go with them and take Z and J along. Such an experience going with 20 kindergartners and some of their parents and siblings! I figured Z would be all over the place "keeping up" with all the boys in the class but I was quite surprised with his reluctance to let go of my hand or leave my side. J, on the other hand, wouldn't stay with me to save her life!!! I got a few pictures here and there when I could peel my hand away from Z's.
Here is J at the front of the line, trying to keep up with Ainsley's teacher=) Even though she didn't stay with me, she was a very good listener when it came to directions from Ms. M!

Ainsley's class stopping for a class photo...guess which one she is!
Ains and her partner...holding hands. Later they had to switch partners because they were having a "spat". Not sure but there might be a little crush between the two?!

hanging in the cave...they were all scrambling to get out because someone screamed "spider web!" and I guess that set them off!

We stayed until the group headed for lunch. It was fun and a little exhausting trying to keep track of that many kids. Sounds like they had a lot of fun and enjoyed the rest of their time at the zoo. It was nice that they chose Good Friday to go. It was supposed to be a "vernal holiday" day off but it became one of
APS's make-up days from all the snow we had earlier in the year.
