Yesterday we celebrated Z's 2nd birthday (his actual birthday is on the 19th) with a water party at our house. We filled up 240ish water balloons and 16 squirt guns and let the kids (and the big kids too!) loose in the backyard. We also had bubbles, which Z seemed to prefer until he decided to sit in the water balloon bucket! We ordered some Dion's, Mike made cupcakes so all the kids could have their own candle to blow out and we had make-your-own ice cream sundaes too. It was a blast and I think everyone had a great time. Here are a few pictures from the party.

Enjoying his ice cream sundae and cupcake. He had a ton of sugar...more than I prefer him to have but it was his birthday party! He had a sprite, a fruit-by-the-foot, ice cream, lots of cherries and cupcake...but he did eat a little pizza!
It was a great party and I think all the kids had a lot of fun. Maybe we'll do something similar next year! Still no baby and running around out back didn't send me into labor as everyone had hoped it would. I'm pretty sure I'll be close to a week overdue but we'll keep everyone posted.
