The Game

Mike and I had our sitter on Friday so we went to an Isotopes game. It was so much fun! Manny Ramirez was not there. He left the night before and that was fine with me. I had no desire to go see a game while he was in town. I don't want to support that kind of thing. The game started an hour late because of a rain delay but it was still a lot of fun. When it started raining we decided to go under cover and walk around and people watch. That is really fun to do at a big venue like that! We even ran into people we knew. When we headed back to our seats we noticed that they were taken by two couples but the seats in front of them were empty so I started to sit there. Mike was confused and said, "Aren't we in section L?" I told him yes but gestured (discreetly) that those people were sitting there. So we sat in front of them and started talking and pretty soon I saw a couple that we had noticed earlier but this time they were sitting to the left of us and originally when they had taken their seats, they were to the right of us. I looked back to the left a couple of rows back and saw the people we were sitting by earlier and realized we were in the wrong section! I told Mike and we just busted up laughing and we were so thankful we hadn't mentioned to the people behind us that they had taken our seats! Boy would we have felt silly! We ended up staying there since no one seemed to be sitting there anyway and we had already dried off the seats. We didn't stay for the whole game because we had to get back home but it was nice to be away, just the two of us.
