Yesterday wasn't that great of a day considering it was my birthday...but Mike made it extra special when he got home from work! He brought me tulips, which I've never gotten before, a delicious chocolate cake and some banana chips (which are my favorite)! After the kids went to bed, we got take-out from Outback and just enjoyed each others' company without being interrupted...ok, without being interrupted more than once=) The kids are on this kick lately of staying up way too late and messing around in their room. So my not-so-good day turned out to be really nice after all!

OMG< I feel like the worst friend ever. Happy Birthday my dear. All I can blame it on is that yesterday wasn't a good day for me either. Gabi has another UTI, so I spent most the day on the phone trying to talk my Dr's nurse into fitting us into their schedule, going to the office to get sterile cups for Gabi to pee in prior to the appt, getting Gabs to pee in the cup at home, heading back down to the office for the appt, and then to the pharmacy.....all with 3 kids. YOu get the picture, and probably can relate. ANyway, I'm SO SORRY I missed wishing you a happy one on your actual day my friend. Love you so much.
I am really bad, I am sorry. I even talked to you yesterday and I didn't remember. So sorry, there is lots going on in my head still but I am really bad at birthdays... I hope you enjoyed your day & the cake, it sure looks yummy!
