She Shoots, She Scores!

Ainsley had her first soccer game yesterday morning and it was so much fun to watch! I don't have pics yet because I thought I left my camera on the microwave so I took pics with Mike's phone and then discovered the camera in J's seat in the car right after the game. Anyway, as soon as I get them off of Mike's phone, I'll post them. I don't remember what the final score was because I really wasn't keeping track but Ainsley did score a goal in the second half of the game! She didn't really want the chance to kick off when the whistle blew but she decided to finally do it and took the ball all the way down the field and scored! It is hilarious to listen to her tell everyone about her goal because she says that she was so fast that no one could catch her and take the ball away before she could kick it into the net=) Mike and I decided that basically whoever has the kick-off when the whistle blows has a pretty good chance of scoring. At any rate, both teams did really well considering many of the girls have never played, let alone kicked a soccer ball before. It was really cute and very fun to watch and we can't wait until the next game!
