I was reading my friend Christina's blog (her son is Emilio whose birthday is today) and she wrote about what she was doing yesterday 3 years ago. It got me thinking about what I was doing 3 years ago today...
Going in to be induced with Ainsley. I had to call at 7 to see when I should come in and they told me they were full and to call back at noon. Let me just say that when you're already waiting to have your first child, who is 11 days late (according to my due date) and they tell you to call back at noon, it kind of makes you crazy. So, Mike and I hung out, took a walk, played Halo and had some lunch. When I called back they told me to come in....finally we were going to have our baby! Or so I thought...
After starting the induction process around 1:00 p.m. on September 14th 2004, Ainsley decided to make her debut September 15th at 11:34 p.m.-26 minutes before her Daddy's birthday! Ahh...I remember it like it was yesterday yet it seems like more than 3 years ago. I love Ainsley immensely but, I have to say, I'm pretty happy I'm not doing today what I was three years ago! =0)

Amen Sister! Man, you had it worse than me. We really had to go through a lot for our first babies...they are so worth it though. Love you and sweet Ainsely too.
