What a Rollercoaster Ride

So, we've sold the house and are officially in "pending" status. Just going through all the inspections/appraisals and such and then we're done. Except one minor detail...we don't have a house to move into. We knew there was a possibility that we wouldn't be getting "our house" and it is quickly becoming a reality. We resubmitted our offer this morning with paperwork to back up the sale of our house since that was originally why it was rejected but the banks broker said they don't like the contingency of the funding. I'm a little irritated that it just wasn't stated from the beginning that the bank is looking for a cash deal. All of this could have been avoided. But we did sell our house and that is a huge blessing and a big part of the equation out of the way. Someone very dear has told me that she doesn't believe God would bring us this far to just leave us hanging. I just need to keep the faith as I leap off the mountain and know that God will catch me. We still have a lot of options....1) the deal could still go through 2) there is another house we like that we could offer on 3) or if the bank owned property is still on the market when we get our money from the sale of our house, we turn around and give it to the bank and everyone is happy. We'll just have to wait and see what happens...either way we're out of this house by the 11th of February!

That's great news that you sold the house! That's really saying something to sell it that fast in this kind of market. We have heard about homes being on the market for a year or more, and we are talking about really great homes. Anyway, that's the hardest step out of the way. Can you bunk with family or friends in the meantime between homes? I hope you are able to purchase the one you love. Can't wait to see pix. Congrats again!

Wow it's awesome and amazing how God works for us when we wait for Him.
